Organic lanes
Lanes and footpaths branch and join freely across the settlement, producing a fine, irregular pattern that looks almost hand-drawn.

关于地图
Mhalamba Map Poster & Print
Mhalamba lies in the Geita region of north-western Tanzania, in the country south of Lake Victoria. The region is best known for gold mining, and the settlements here have grown quickly as mining and farming have drawn people to the area. The land is rolling, with rocky outcrops and farmland.
On a map, Mhalamba looks informal rather than planned. There is a network of lanes and footpaths joining homes and plots, and a few main roads connect it to the wider region. The street pattern follows the land and patterns of ownership, and it makes a delicate, uneven drawing with plenty of open ground between built areas.
A Mhalamba map poster is a modest, honest portrait of a growing place, exactly as the roads and paths trace it. It suits people with family in Geita who want to keep the shape of home on their wall, or who have worked in the region and remember it.

Rolling ground
The land rises and dips around the settlement, and the roads curve around the higher ground rather than running in straight lines.
Gold-mining region
Geita is known for gold mining, and the region's growth shows in the way settlements like this one spread outward along their connecting roads.

为什么选 Mhalamba
一张有意义的地图
A map of Mhalamba is a personal record more than a decorative landmark. That is its value to people who come from the area or have family there, and its loose, organic lines make a surprisingly elegant print.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line to make it your own. Five styles are available: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand.
