Mikołów Map Poster & Print
Mikołów is one of the oldest towns in Upper Silesia, just southwest of Katowice, and its plan still has a historic core. At the centre is the market square, the rynek, with streets leaving each corner in the usual pattern of a Polish chartered town. Around it, later housing, industrial land and main roads spread across the gently rolling landscape.
The surrounding area is greener than many people expect in Silesia. Woods and ponds lie at the edge of town, and Mikołów is home to the Silesian Botanical Garden, which appears on the map as a large open area of paths and planted sections. Major roads to Katowice and Tychy define the town's outer edges.
