关于地图
Mkuranga Map Poster & Print
Mkuranga lies in Pwani Region of Tanzania, on the coastal plain south of Dar es Salaam, and is the centre of the district of the same name. On a map the town is shaped by the main road running south from Dar es Salaam toward Kilwa: buildings and side streets cluster along it, then open into farmland and villages.
The surrounding land is largely agricultural, with smallholdings, tree crops and scattered settlements linked by unpaved tracks. To the east the land runs down toward the Indian Ocean. Because the town has grown gradually rather than to a fixed plan, the map shows an organic network of streets and paths rather than a strict grid.
A Mkuranga map poster turns this pattern of main road, side streets and rural tracks into a clean, linear composition. It suits people from the district, those who travel regularly along the southern route and anyone who has watched the area change as Dar es Salaam's influence spreads south.

Rural tracks
Beyond the centre, a fine network of paths and unpaved roads connects villages and farms, adding texture to the open spaces of the poster.
Toward the coast
East of the town the land descends toward the Indian Ocean, and a wider crop brings the coastline into the frame as a long, irregular edge.
