Mombasa Road
The main highway to the coast runs straight through town. It is the central line of the map, and Mlolongo's commercial strip grows along both sides.

关于地图
Mlolongo Map Poster & Print
Mlolongo lies in Machakos County, just southeast of Nairobi, on the busy Mombasa Road that links the capital to the coast. From above, it is a linear town. Its densest streets line the highway, and newer estates and residential lanes spread back from it across the flat, open Athi plains. The pattern is that of a place growing quickly and filling in the space between older landmarks.
The town has grown as part of Nairobi's expanding metropolitan fringe, drawing commuters and businesses with its location near the airport, industrial areas and the main road to Mombasa. Its setting on the plains means wide skies and long views, with Nairobi National Park not far to the west and the town of Athi River to the southeast.
A Mlolongo map poster captures a town in the making. The highway forms a strong, confident line across the frame, and planned estates and informal lanes fill the land on either side in different textures. Open ground at the edges gives the town a clear outline. It is an honest, contemporary portrait of a place many people now call home.

New estates
Residential estates spread back from the highway in neat, planned blocks. Their regular shapes contrast with the older, more irregular lanes near the road.
Athi plains
Beyond the built-up area the land opens into wide, flat plains. The empty space around the town gives the poster a clean, uncluttered edge.

为什么选 Mlolongo
一张有意义的地图
Mlolongo is where many people have bought their first home or started a business on the edge of Nairobi. A map of their streets marks that step and the place that made it possible.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line with an estate name, a moving date or a family name, and choose Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Blueprint suits a town still being built.
