关于地图
Molakālumuru Map Poster & Print
Molakālumuru lies in Chitradurga district in the north-east of Karnataka, close to the border with Andhra Pradesh. The country around it is dry and rocky, with low hills made of piled granite boulders, and on a map the town appears as a compact knot of streets set within this rugged setting.
The town is best known across India for its silk saris. Molakalmuru saris, woven on handlooms with distinctive borders and motifs, carry a geographical indication, and weaving has long been part of daily life in its homes and workshops.
A Molakālumuru map poster draws the town's close-set lanes and the roads leaving it toward neighbouring towns, with small reservoirs and the boulder hills giving shape to the edges. It is a small, dense map, fitting for a place known for fine detail.
