关于地图
Monte Azul Map Poster & Print
Monte Azul is a municipality in the north of Minas Gerais, near the border with Bahia. The region is semi-arid, and ranges of hills and low mountains rise nearby. From a distance these ridges can look bluish, which fits the town's name, meaning blue mountain.
On the map, the town is a compact grid of streets and blocks with a central square. The terrain shapes the edges: on one side the land rises towards the hills, and on the other it opens into flatter farmland and pasture. A railway line and roads connect it with neighbouring towns across the region.
A Monte Azul map poster shows a clear urban core set against a wide landscape. The orderly blocks contrast with the irregular lines of streams and country roads around them, and the rising ground behind the town gives the whole composition a sense of backdrop.

Hills at the edge
Higher ground rises near the town and sets a natural limit to growth on one side. Roads and tracks bend to follow the slopes.
Routes across the sertão
Roads and a railway line leave the town across open country and link Monte Azul with the rest of northern Minas and southern Bahia.
