Foot of Mount Moroto
The town sits directly below the mountain, and the street network ends where the slopes begin, giving the poster a sharp, telling edge.

关于地图
Moroto Map Poster & Print
Moroto is the main town of Moroto district in the Karamoja region of northeastern Uganda, close to the border with Kenya. The land around it is semi-arid plain, and immediately to the east rises Mount Moroto, a large mountain massif that dominates the skyline and shapes the town's setting.
From above, the town forms a modest grid of streets and compounds on the flat ground below the mountain. Roads run out across the plain toward other Karamoja towns, while seasonal watercourses leave faint lines across the landscape. The mountain itself appears as a zone of empty space with only a few tracks climbing its slopes.
A Moroto map poster works because of that dramatic setting. Even without shading, the way the street pattern stops abruptly at the foot of the mountain tells the story of the place. The result is a strong, simple composition that feels quite different from the crowded maps of larger cities.

Compact town grid
Moroto's centre is laid out in a loose grid of streets and plots, forming a clear, readable block on the flat plain.
Karamoja roads
Long roads lead away across open country toward other towns in the region, drawing straight, spare lines across the poster.
