Logone riverbank
The Logone Occidental runs along the city's edge in a soft curve, and the streets meet it at the waterfront, giving the map a strong natural boundary.

关于地图
Moundou Map Poster & Print
Moundou is one of the largest cities in Chad and the main centre of the country's south-west. It lies on the Logone Occidental river, and on a map the river forms a long, gentle curve along one side of the city. Streets extend from the riverbank across flat ground, forming a broad and fairly regular network that gradually loosens into more scattered settlements at the edges.
The city has long been linked to cotton and to a well-known brewery, and its economy has shaped the layout of main roads, industrial sites and markets. The landscape around Moundou is open savanna and farmland, so the city's shape is defined mainly by the river and the routes leading out towards other towns.
A Moundou map poster shows a city that meets its river directly: the curving water, the grid of streets behind it and the long roads running away into the countryside. In black and white, the plan reads clearly and calmly, a quiet portrait of a regional capital.

Open street network
Much of Moundou is laid out as a broad, loose grid of streets on flat ground, which gives the poster a steady, even texture across the city.
Roads to the region
Main routes leave the city towards other towns in southern Chad, drawn as long lines that fade into the surrounding open land.
