关于地图
Mount Davis Map Poster & Print
Mount Davis is a hill and residential area at the western end of Hong Kong Island, in the Central and Western District. It rises steeply above Kennedy Town, and from above its map is a contrast of dense streets at the foot of the hill, a green, wooded summit, and the harbour waters wrapping around the headland.
The hill is named after Sir John Francis Davis, one of the early governors of Hong Kong. Its summit holds the remains of military batteries built to guard the western approaches to the harbour, and the upper slopes are now part of a country park area.
Mount Davis Road winds around the hill in long bends, linking residential estates and institutions on its flanks. A Mount Davis map poster captures one of Hong Kong's quieter corners, where the city's density gives way to green slopes and views out over the shipping lanes.

Western waters
The sea wraps around the headland on three sides, leaving wide areas of open water that frame the steep, green shape of the hill.
