关于地图
Mpika Map Poster & Print
Mpika is a small town on the high plateau of northeastern Zambia. On a map its layout is simple: a compact centre built along the Great North Road, with side streets spreading out into residential areas and open land, and long straight routes heading off into the bush.
The town is a transport junction. The Great North Road runs through it toward Tanzania, and the TAZARA railway, which links Zambia to the port of Dar es Salaam, has a station here. To the east, the land drops down the Muchinga Escarpment toward the Luangwa Valley and its national parks.
A Mpika map poster shows a town defined by movement. The main road and the railway draw long lines across the sheet, and the small grid of streets between them is set against wide, open country.

TAZARA railway
The railway to Dar es Salaam passes Mpika, and its gentle curve adds a second long line to the map alongside the road.
Edge of the escarpment
East of town, the plateau falls away toward the Luangwa Valley, and the open land in that direction gives the map a quiet, spacious frame.

为什么选 Mpika
一张有意义的地图
People who know Mpika usually know it as a stop on a long journey, a family home or a posting on the road north. A map of the town records that crossing point clearly and simply.
You can personalise the title, the subtitle and the coordinates, for example with a name and a year. Pick one of five styles (Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand) and choose the $9 HD files or a printed poster.
