Kampala–Fort Portal road
The highway runs through the town as its main street, and the densest part of the map lines up along this single strong axis heading west.

关于地图
Mubende Map Poster & Print
Mubende lies in central Uganda, on the main road running west from Kampala toward Fort Portal. The town sits in rolling upland country. Its map shows a compact centre along the highway, with red-earth lanes spreading into the surrounding farmland and small settlements. Mubende Hill rises nearby, and the land around it is a patchwork of plots, trees and winding tracks.
Mubende Hill is best known for the Nakayima Tree, a very old tree regarded as a sacred site and associated with the Bachwezi traditions of the region. Pilgrims and travellers have visited it for generations. The town itself is a market and administrative centre for the district, serving a largely agricultural area.
A Mubende map poster reduces the town to its essential structure: the long line of the highway, the tight core of shops and offices, and the looser pattern of roads and paths across the hills. It is an honest, uncluttered picture of a Ugandan upland town, and it reads well in a simple black-and-white print.

Mubende Hill
The hill near the town rises above the surrounding country. On the poster its slopes are open ground crossed by paths leading toward the Nakayima Tree.
Upland farmland
Beyond the centre the map breaks into scattered plots and winding tracks across rolling hills, the pattern of a rural area where small farms reach right up to the town.
