关于地图
Mugumu Map Poster & Print
Mugumu is the headquarters of Serengeti District in Tanzania's Mara Region, sitting on rolling grassland just west of Serengeti National Park. On a map the town appears as a loose cluster of streets and compounds around a few main roads, with smallholdings and scattered homesteads spreading into the savanna beyond. The layout is informal, shaped by routes rather than a planned grid.
Its position makes Mugumu a gateway town. Roads lead east toward the park boundary and the protected lands around it, and west toward Lake Victoria and the rest of the Mara Region. Seasonal streams and low rises break up the surrounding country, and the contrast between cultivated land and the wide open reserve is one of the defining features of the area.
A Mugumu map poster offers something unusual: a portrait of a working town at the threshold of one of Africa's best-known wildlife landscapes. The streets are sparse and the white space is generous, so the finished print feels calm and open, much like the land around it. It is a thoughtful keepsake for residents, researchers and visitors alike.

Edge of the Serengeti
East of town the map becomes sparse as settlement gives way to protected land, a clear visual line between farming country and the national park.
Scattered homesteads
Around the centre, small plots and dispersed buildings create a light, speckled texture that thins gradually into the open surrounding grassland.

为什么选 Mugumu
一张有意义的地图
Mugumu is familiar to people who have worked in conservation, health or education around the Serengeti, as well as to those born here. A map of the town marks time spent in a place that sits between village life and a world-famous park.
Write your own title and subtitle, perhaps a project name or the years spent here, and keep the coordinates line as a reference. Choose one of five styles, preview it free at 900 px, then buy the $9 HD files or a printed poster.
