Old Sham Shui Po grid
East of the station, narrow parallel streets form the tight rectangular blocks typical of older Kowloon, packed closely enough to read as a dark field on the map.

关于地图
Nam Cheong Map Poster & Print
Nam Cheong lies on the western side of Sham Shui Po in Kowloon, where the older street grid of the district meets land reclaimed from Victoria Harbour. On a map the contrast is clear: to the east, tight rectangular blocks of tenements and shops; to the west, larger plots of public housing estates, open spaces and transport infrastructure laid out on newer ground.
Railway and road corridors run through the area and give the map strong, sweeping lines. Nam Cheong station, an interchange on the MTR, anchors the district, with elevated roads and tracks curving past toward the harbour and Lantau. The waterfront beyond is drawn as a clean edge, straight in the way reclaimed coastlines tend to be.
A Nam Cheong map poster shows a small area where several layers of Hong Kong's growth sit side by side. Old grid, housing estate and infrastructure all appear within a short walk. For people who grew up in these estates or commuted through the station, the map is a very precise portrait of home.
