Neusäß Map Poster & Print
Neusäß lies directly west of Augsburg in Bavarian Swabia. On the map it joins the larger city's western districts without a clear break. The town is made up of several formerly separate villages that grew together. As a result, it has no single old centre but a series of small cores linked by residential streets and main roads.
The Schmutter valley runs through the municipality, a narrow green band with meadows along the stream. To the west, the land rises into the wooded hills of the Augsburg Western Woods nature park. From above, the pattern is clear: city on one side, forest on the other, and Neusäß's housing districts in between.
