关于地图
Nguruka Map Poster & Print
Nguruka lies in the Kigoma region of western Tanzania, in the interior between the cities of Tabora and Kigoma, in a landscape of miombo woodland, farmland and seasonal wetlands. The settlement is spread out across open ground rather than concentrated in a tight centre, and from above it appears as a scattering of homes, plots and paths.
The main structure on the map is provided by a few roads and the tracks that branch from them to farms and neighbouring villages. Small fields surround the houses, with open woodland and grassland beyond. Streams and low, wet ground add softer lines to the landscape, especially in the rainy season when water spreads over the plain.
A Nguruka map poster is sparse and open. It shows a settlement shaped by agriculture and the land around it, with just enough lines to trace the roads and paths. That simplicity is what makes it work as a poster: a calm, uncluttered composition for people who come from this part of western Tanzania.

Scattered homesteads
Homes and small plots are spread across the land rather than grouped in a single centre, connected by a network of footpaths and tracks.
Woodland and wetland
Beyond the fields, open woodland and low, seasonally wet ground surround the settlement, giving the map a soft, spacious background.
