关于地图
Niapidou Map Poster & Print
Niapidou is in the Bas-Sassandra District of south-western Ivory Coast, in the humid forest zone between the coast and the country's interior. From above the town is a loose network of streets gathered along its main roads, with plantations and patches of forest surrounding it.
This region is at the heart of Ivorian cocoa country, and farming shapes the landscape around towns like Niapidou. The map shows a settlement that has grown around its roads instead of from a single planned centre, with houses and compounds filling the spaces between routes and the edges fading into cultivated land.
A Niapidou map poster records a place that rarely appears in guidebooks but matters a great deal to the people who know it. The main roads give it a spine, the side streets branch off irregularly, and the green countryside becomes open white space in the monochrome design, putting the town's own form at the centre.

Branching side streets
Smaller lanes branch off the main routes in an irregular pattern, the kind of organic growth typical of expanding towns in the region.
Forest and farmland edge
Around the town the built area thins into plantations and forest. On the poster, that becomes a calm margin around the town.
