The historic centre is a small, irregular cluster of streets, clearly different from the planned districts built around it in recent decades.

关于地图
Nootdorp Map Poster & Print
Nootdorp lies just east of The Hague, in the low peat landscape of South Holland. It is now part of the municipality of Pijnacker-Nootdorp. On a map, the old village centre is a small, irregular cluster of streets, and newer residential districts spread out around it, planned along canals and water features that manage the level of the polder.
Water is everywhere in the layout. Ditches and canals follow the old field boundaries, and the Dobbeplas, a recreational lake with woods and paths, sits on the edge of town as a large, soft shape. The Ypenburg district of The Hague lies directly adjacent, and motorways and a tram line link Nootdorp to the city.
A Nootdorp map poster shows how a traditional polder village has grown into a modern suburb without losing its water structure. The old centre, the new neighbourhoods and the lake all appear clearly in black and white. It is a precise, readable print for anyone who has made a home in this part of the Randstad.

Dobbeplas lake
The recreational lake on the town's edge, with its paths and woods, makes a large soft shape against the straighter lines of the housing.
Polder waterways
Ditches and canals follow the old field divisions through the neighbourhoods, a fine linear pattern typical of South Holland's peat polders.
