Bailey Yard
Hundreds of parallel tracks form a long, fine-lined band across the map. It is the most distinctive pattern in the city, and railroad enthusiasts travel to see the yard in person.

关于地图
North Platte Map Poster & Print
North Platte sits in west-central Nebraska on the narrow stretch of land between the North Platte and South Platte rivers, just above the point where they join to form the Platte. On a map, the two braided channels frame the city from north and south, and the town's grid fills the space between them like a wedge.
The largest man-made feature is Union Pacific's Bailey Yard, the biggest railroad classification yard in the world, a vast fan of parallel tracks stretching for miles along the western side of town. The city also has deep roots in the frontier era. Buffalo Bill Cody made his home here, and his Scout's Rest Ranch still stands on the north side.
A North Platte map poster brings these layers together: the rivers as loose, branching lines, Interstate 80 crossing the valley, and the dense striping of rail tracks cutting across the grid. It is a natural choice for railroad families, for Nebraskans, and for anyone who has stopped here on a long drive across the plains.

Two rivers meeting
The North Platte and South Platte approach from the west on either side of town and join just to the east, framing the city in water.
Grid and interstate
Downtown follows a regular grid aligned with the railway, and Interstate 80 runs along the south, giving the composition a clear horizontal structure.

为什么选 North Platte
一张有意义的地图
North Platte is a place defined by movement: trains, rivers and travellers heading west. Hanging its map is a way of honouring that, whether you worked in the yard, grew up in town or simply remember the stop.
Personalise the title and subtitle with a name, year or phrase, and edit the coordinates line if you wish. Choose Classic black & white for clarity or Blueprint for a technical look, among five styles, as $9 HD files or a printed poster with an optional frame.
