Regular residential grid
Most of the city is built as even rectangular blocks. At poster scale, they merge into a neat, finely woven texture that fills most of the frame.

关于地图
Nova Odessa Map Poster & Print
Nova Odessa is a city in São Paulo state that belongs to the metropolitan area around Campinas. Its name recalls its early twentieth-century founding by immigrants from Eastern Europe, who settled here as farmers. From above, it reads as a planned, fairly regular grid of residential blocks. Large transport lines pass along its edges and link it with Americana and Sumaré on either side.
The map shows a place in transition between town and countryside. Neighbourhoods of small, even blocks sit beside industrial parcels and patches of green, and a highway and a railway cut across the landscape at a firm angle. Small streams and their wooded margins break up the grid in places. In a monochrome print, they appear as soft, curving gaps among the straight streets.
A Nova Odessa map poster captures that orderly suburban pattern at a scale where the blocks become a fine texture. The large diagonals of the transport corridors cross it. The result looks almost like a textile, regular but not rigid. It is a good fit for a clean, modern interior.

Transport corridors
A major highway and a railway cross the area and link Nova Odessa with the neighbouring cities of the Campinas region. They give the composition strong diagonal lines.
Green margins
Small streams and wooded strips interrupt the grid in places. They appear as soft, irregular gaps that relieve the regularity of the streets.

为什么选 Nova Odessa
一张有意义的地图
Many families in Nova Odessa trace their roots to the immigrants who founded it, and others arrived more recently to work in the Campinas region. A map of the city marks a home town, a first house or a new start, and it does so in a restrained way.
Personalise the title and subtitle with a street, a date or a family name, and edit the coordinates line if you like. Choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Printed posters come on matte paper, with an optional wooden frame, and ship from partners in more than 30 countries.
