Historic centre
The oldest streets gather around the main church and square. They form an irregular cluster of blocks that follows the gentle slopes rather than a planned grid.

关于地图
Oliveira Map Poster & Print
Oliveira lies in the interior of Minas Gerais, southwest of Belo Horizonte, in a landscape of low hills and pasture. The Fernão Dias highway, which links Belo Horizonte with São Paulo, passes close to town. On the map it is a long, confident line set against the looser pattern of local streets and rural roads.
Like many towns in this part of Minas, Oliveira grew up around a main church and square. Its central streets follow the lie of the land rather than a strict grid, so the older blocks come in slightly different shapes and sizes. Newer neighbourhoods on the edges are more regular, and the map records that gradual growth outward from the centre.
An Oliveira map poster suits the quiet geometry of a Brazilian country town: a dense, irregular centre, a more ordered ring of newer streets and open farmland on every side. In black and white the hills are implied by the way roads bend and switch back. It is a modest, honest portrait of a place shaped by its terrain.

Highway corridor
The Fernão Dias highway runs past the town, a long, steady line that contrasts clearly with the curving local streets and gives the composition a strong direction.
Rolling farmland
Around the town, pasture and small rural roads spread over low hills, drawn with sparse lines that leave plenty of calm white space around the urban core.

为什么选 Oliveira
一张有意义的地图
Oliveira is the kind of place people carry with them after they leave, whether for Belo Horizonte, São Paulo or further away. A map of its streets makes a restrained keepsake of home, or a considered gift for parents and grandparents who still live there.
Give the poster your own title, subtitle and coordinates line, and choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. The $9 download includes six sizes, from A3 to 24×36 inches, as 300 DPI PNG and print-ready PDF, or order a matte printed poster.
