The hillside core
The oldest part of town climbs the slope in a knot of narrow, winding lanes. On the map it forms the densest cluster of lines, clearly set apart from the more regular streets below.

关于地图
Orahovac Map Poster & Print
Orahovac, known in Albanian as Rahovec, sits on the southern edge of a range of low hills in western Kosovo. From above, the town looks lopsided. On the upper slope the streets are dense and irregular, bending to follow the contours. Lower down, where the ground flattens toward the valley, the blocks grow looser and the roads straighten out.
The land around the town is what gives the map its character. The Rahovec area is one of Kosovo's best-known wine regions, and the vineyards show up as a fine pattern of parallel strips on the surrounding slopes. On a black-and-white print these rows read almost like hatching, a quiet texture around the built-up core that shows how closely the town is tied to the land around it.
An Orahovac map poster keeps all of this in a single frame. The crowded upper quarter, the roads that run out across the plain toward neighbouring towns and villages, and the gradual change from street grid to open field sit together in one composition. Printed in monochrome, with colour and labels kept to a minimum, the layout of a small town shaped by its hillside and its harvest is easy to read.

Vineyard country
Vineyards cover the surrounding hills in long, even rows. From above they make a striped texture that frames the town and marks the area as one of Kosovo's main wine-growing districts.
Roads to the valley
Main roads leave the town and run across the flatter farmland toward nearby settlements. They are the strongest lines in the composition and link the compact centre to the wider valley.

为什么选 Orahovac
一张有意义的地图
For people who grew up in Rahovec, have family there or visited during the harvest, this map brings back a specific place: a slope, a street, a view over the vines. It suits someone living far from home, or a gift for anyone with roots in the town.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, adding a family name, a date or a short dedication. Choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Buy the $9 digital files in six sizes, or order a printed poster on matte paper, with an optional wooden frame.
