关于地图
Otavalo Map Poster & Print
Otavalo is a town in the Imbabura province of northern Ecuador, set in a high Andean valley at the foot of the Imbabura volcano, with Cotacachi rising on the other side. From above, the town has a clear grid of blocks, and the surrounding land is a patchwork of small fields, villages and roads climbing toward the slopes.
Otavalo is widely known for its market, centred on the Plaza de los Ponchos, where textiles and crafts made by Kichwa Otavalo artisans have been traded for generations. Lake San Pablo lies a short distance southeast, and the landscape of volcanoes, lakes and farmland makes the region one of the most visited in the Ecuadorian highlands.
An Otavalo map poster captures a town shaped by its setting. The regular grid of streets sits in the centre of the valley, the market square stands out among the blocks, and roads leading out toward nearby villages and the lake give the image a sense of the wider highland landscape.

Valley grid
Otavalo's streets follow a regular grid across the valley floor, producing clean, evenly spaced blocks that contrast with the curving roads beyond.
Road to the lake
Roads lead southeast toward Lake San Pablo, linking the town to lakeside villages and giving the map a natural extension beyond the streets.
