关于地图
Palwancha Map Poster & Print
Palwancha, also spelled Paloncha, lies in Bhadradri Kothagudem district in eastern Telangana. This is wooded, hilly country near the Godavari basin, very different from the open plateau further west. On a map, the town is an irregular group of streets around a main road, with separate planned areas for industry and staff housing.
The best-known site is the Kothagudem Thermal Power Station, which gives the area its industrial character. Its compound, cooling structures and staff colonies appear as large planned blocks next to the organic streets of the older town. There are also other industrial units nearby, and the coal mining region around Kothagudem is close.
A Palwancha map poster shows that dual character: industrial layouts of straight lines and neat colonies beside the unplanned growth of the market town. Around the edges, forest and reservoirs take over, and the map opens up into blank space in monochrome.

Staff colonies
Planned housing for power station and industrial workers forms neat blocks of parallel lanes, a separate pattern from the older bazaar area.
Forested surroundings
Beyond the town, the map opens into wooded hills and water, typical of the landscape of the Bhadradri Kothagudem district.

为什么选 Palwancha
一张有意义的地图
Many families lived in Palwancha's colonies for a posting at the power station or a career in local industry. For them the map records a particular time and place. The contrast between planned and organic layouts makes a clear, graphic print.
The title, subtitle and coordinates can be changed to a colony name, the years you lived there or the location of a house. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, as a digital download or a printed poster.
