关于地图
Peekskill Map Poster & Print
Peekskill is a small city in northern Westchester County, on the east bank of the Hudson River. It sits where the river widens into Peekskill Bay, just south of the Hudson Highlands. Here the valley narrows between steep, wooded mountains, and the Bear Mountain Bridge crosses the river a little to the north.
The map shows a town built on a slope. The downtown sits on higher ground, and streets run down toward the waterfront, where the railway follows the shoreline. The street pattern is irregular, shaped by the hills and older roads instead of a single grid. Annsville Creek comes in from the north, and the land beyond the city quickly turns to forest.
A Peekskill map poster has one of the strongest natural edges you can find in a small city. The broad river runs down one side, the bay curves in and the hills close in to the north. The streets fill the space between them in a close, irregular pattern, and the rail line traces the water.

Rail along the water
The Hudson Line follows the riverbank in a long, smooth curve that separates the town from the water.
Gateway to the Highlands
To the north the terrain rises and the valley narrows. The map shows the transition from town streets to steep, wooded mountainside.

为什么选 Peekskill
一张有意义的地图
Peekskill appeals to people who value the Hudson Valley, both the river and the city's older streets. The poster suits someone who moved up from New York City, or a family with deep roots in northern Westchester.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line. You can also choose one of five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Noir makes the river an especially dramatic dark shape.
