Colonial grid
The centre follows the classic Spanish colonial layout, with square blocks arranged around a main plaza. It is the most regular pattern on the map and makes a natural focal point.

关于地图
Piedecuesta Map Poster & Print
Piedecuesta takes its name from where it sits: at the foot of the slope. The town lies at the southern end of the Bucaramanga metropolitan area, where the valley floor meets the rising ground of the Eastern Cordillera. On a map the change is plain. Level blocks in the centre give way to roads that bend, split and follow the contours as they climb away from town.
The historic core keeps the Spanish colonial pattern of a main plaza, a parish church and square blocks spreading out in regular rows. Newer neighbourhoods have grown along the road north towards Floridablanca and Bucaramanga, so the town now joins the wider metropolitan area in an almost continuous line of development.
A Piedecuesta map poster captures a place on the edge of two landscapes. On one side are the dense, orderly streets of the town. On the other are streams cutting down from the mountains, rural lanes and scattered hamlets. The balance of grid and ravine gives the print a lot of texture without feeling crowded.

Metropolitan corridor
The main road north ties Piedecuesta to Floridablanca and Bucaramanga, and newer housing lines it in a continuous band that points the map towards the regional capital.
Mountain edge
East and south of the centre, the streets give way to winding roads and stream valleys cut into the slopes of the Eastern Cordillera.

为什么选 Piedecuesta
一张有意义的地图
For people from Santander, Piedecuesta is a hometown, a family base or the quieter end of the metropolitan area. A map of it records the plaza, the street grid and the hills as one place, which is how people remember it.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates, for example with a family name or a date, and choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Sand pairs well with the warm Andean setting.
