The beach curve
A long, gently curved beach lies below the cliffs. It is the natural focal point of the map and the reason most visitors come to this stretch of coast.

关于地图
Porto de Mós Map Poster & Print
Porto de Mós is on the western Algarve coast, just beyond Lagos. From above, the most noticeable thing is the coastline itself. Land drops sharply into the ocean, and a curve of beach sits between headlands of eroded rock. The streets behind it are not a dense urban grid. They are a looser arrangement of roads, villas and holiday houses spreading over the rising ground.
East of here the coast turns toward the Ponta da Piedade headland and the historic centre of Lagos. To the west the cliffs run on toward Luz. Inland, the landscape is dry hillside cut by a few roads that lead down to the sea. The contrast is strong: dark land on one side, open water on the other.
A Porto de Mós map poster is a coastal picture above all. The shoreline takes up much of the frame, with the beach as a pale strip at its foot and the streets gathered behind it. People who have spent summers here tend to remember exactly that combination of sand, sea and rock.

Cliffs toward Piedade
Eastward, the coastline gets ragged and rocky as it approaches Ponta da Piedade near Lagos. On the poster this appears as a finely broken edge against the water.
Hillside roads
Behind the shore, residential roads wind up the slope in loose loops. The pattern is closer to a holiday settlement than a town centre, and the map shows it.

为什么选 Porto de Mós
一张有意义的地图
Many people fall for this part of the Algarve on a first holiday and come back every year after. A map of Porto de Mós keeps the shape of that coast in view at home, whether they rented a house here or walked the cliffs from Lagos.
Personalise the title, add a subtitle such as the summer you first came, and keep or change the coordinates line. Blueprint and Noir make the Atlantic edge stand out strongly. Sand and Paper give the view a softer, sunlit tone.
