Curving shoreline
A long, soft coastline forms the upper edge of the town. In print it becomes a clean boundary between the dense grid and the open sea.

关于地图
Puerto Píritu Map Poster & Print
Puerto Píritu lies on Venezuela's Caribbean coast in Anzoátegui state, between Barcelona and the western part of the state. The sea defines the map. The shoreline sweeps along the northern edge in a long, smooth curve, and the town's streets run inland from it in a fairly regular grid. The coastal highway runs parallel to the sea a little inland.
Offshore lie the small Píritu islands, low sandy islets that stand out on the map as simple shapes in open water. Inland, the town gives way to drier coastal land and scattered development. Near the beach, the blocks are more tightly packed, and a promenade follows the waterfront.
A Puerto Píritu map poster shows a town that faces the water, with the grid leaning towards the coast and the islands out at sea. The area has roots in the Franciscan missions that shaped eastern Venezuela in the colonial period. Today it is mostly known as a beach town where many families spend their holidays.

Píritu islands
Low islets sit a short way offshore. They add small, distinct shapes to the otherwise empty water area of the poster.
Coastal highway
The main road runs parallel to the sea behind the town. It links Puerto Píritu with the rest of the Anzoátegui coast.

为什么选 Puerto Píritu
一张有意义的地图
For anyone who grew up here or spent summers on this coast, the outline of the beach and the islands is instantly familiar. A map keeps that view on the wall long after the trip, or far from home.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, and choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Blueprint and Sand work especially well for a coastal town. Buy the HD files for $9, or have a print shipped by partners in 30+ countries.
