关于地图
Putatan Map Poster & Print
Putatan is a district in the west coast division of Sabah, just south of Kota Kinabalu, the state capital. It was separated from the neighbouring Penampang district in the 2000s. It is now largely a suburban extension of the capital, with a busy main road linking it to the city and the airport nearby.
On the map, Putatan lies on low, flat land between the South China Sea coast and the first rise of hills inland. Rivers and drainage channels cross the plain on their way to the sea. Housing estates, shophouse rows and older villages sit next to one another, so neat new grids appear beside looser, older lanes.
A Putatan map poster shows a place in transition: part village, part suburb, oriented towards Kota Kinabalu yet still shaped by its rivers and coast. In black and white, the contrast between planned estates and older settlement gives the image more depth than its size would suggest.

New housing grids
Planned estates form tidy blocks of parallel streets, easy to pick out against the more irregular pattern of older villages.

A main road leads north towards the capital and its airport, tying Putatan firmly into the life of the larger city.
