Town core
The urban area is a small, compact grid centred on its square. On the poster it forms a single dense mark within a wide field of open land.

关于地图
Quixelô Map Poster & Print
Quixelô is a small municipality in the interior of Ceará, in north-eastern Brazil, in the Centro-Sul region near Iguatu. It is in the semi-arid landscape known as the sertão, where rainfall is seasonal and water is closely tied to rivers and reservoirs. From above, the town is compact, a few rows of blocks around a central square and a church.
The surrounding municipality lies within the Jaguaribe river basin, Ceará's most important watershed. On a map, the countryside is mostly open: scrubland, scattered farm plots, dirt roads and seasonal streams that are dry for much of the year. Small ponds and dams appear as irregular shapes, because stored water is essential in this climate.
A Quixelô map poster shows a small town in a large, open landscape. The streets form a tight cluster, roads extend outward into the sertão, and the watercourses trace faint branching lines around it. It is a sparse, honest composition that suits a minimalist style well.

Seasonal streams
Watercourses in the Jaguaribe basin cross the municipality in branching lines. Many carry water only part of the year, but their paths still shape the landscape.
Open sertão
Most of the surrounding land is sparsely settled, with only a few roads and plots. This openness creates large quiet areas that frame the town.

为什么选 Quixelô
一张有意义的地图
Many people from the interior of Ceará now live in Fortaleza, São Paulo or elsewhere, and a map of their hometown can be a strong link to family. Quixelô's simple outline looks especially clear on a wall.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates, for example with a family name or a date. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Get the $9 digital HD download, or order a matte print from a print partner.
