Delta canals
Irrigation and drainage canals cross the flat land in long, straight lines. They are older than many of the streets around them.

关于地图
Ramanayyapeta Map Poster & Print
Ramanayyapeta is on the edge of Kakinada, in Andhra Pradesh. It lies on the flat, low land of the Godavari delta, a short distance inland from the Bay of Bengal. On a map, its streets merge with the wider urban area of Kakinada, and residential blocks fill in the land between main roads, canals and remaining fields.
The delta landscape is shaped by irrigation canals and drainage channels, which run in long lines across the countryside. As the city has grown, new streets have been laid out between them. That gives this edge of Kakinada a mixed pattern of regular new blocks, older village lanes and open plots still waiting for development.
A Ramanayyapeta map poster captures a place in transition, where city streets are gradually replacing delta farmland. The canals keep their straight course through it all, and the nearby coast adds a clear edge. It is a personal map for anyone who has watched this part of Kakinada change.
