Rangat Bay
A sheltered bay opens to the east of the town. Its irregular shoreline gives the poster a strong, organic edge, and the sea appears as a broad, calm field.

关于地图
Rangat Map Poster & Print
Rangat is one of the main settlements on Middle Andaman, in the chain of islands between the Bay of Bengal and the Andaman Sea. The Andaman Trunk Road runs through it, connecting Port Blair in the south with the northern islands. On the map, the town is a short stretch of streets around that road, close to a sheltered bay on the island's eastern side.
Water shapes the whole scene. The coastline is irregular, with creeks and mangrove channels reaching inland. The jetty and the bay give the town its link to the sea, while forest covers much of the land around it. Compared with the scale of the coastline, the built area is small, so on a poster the shoreline itself becomes the main subject.
A Rangat map poster suits anyone who has travelled the trunk road or lived on the islands for a few years. It shows the ragged coast, the thin line of the road and the small cluster of streets in between. Many travellers remember the Andamans only as beaches, and this map shows a quieter side of the islands.

Andaman Trunk Road
The island's main road passes through Rangat on its way north and south. It forms a single continuous line that connects the town to the rest of the island.
Creeks and inlets
Narrow tidal channels cut into the land along the coast. On paper they appear as fine, branching lines, typical of the mangrove shores of the Andaman Islands.

为什么选 Rangat
一张有意义的地图
People posted to the islands, families from Middle Andaman and travellers who took the long road north all have reasons to keep this map. The coastline is beautiful on its own, and the small town gives it a human scale.
Add a title and subtitle, such as your years on the island, and set the coordinates. Choose Blueprint or Sand for a seaside mood, or one of the three other styles. The $9 files include a print-ready PDF in six sizes.
