关于地图
Raqo Map Poster & Print
Raqo is a town in the Somali Region of eastern Ethiopia, in the wide semi-arid country that extends toward the border with Somalia. From above, the settlement is small and self-contained, a cluster of streets and plots surrounded by open land, with tracks radiating out toward other towns and grazing areas.
In this part of the Horn of Africa, towns often grow around market routes and water sources, and their maps reflect that: a compact centre, a few main roads and a lot of space. Little detailed information about Raqo is widely published, which is why a map is one of the clearest ways to see it.
A Raqo map poster keeps things simple and honest: the shape of the town, the lines leaving it and the emptiness of the plateau around it. The result is a spare, graphic image with a strong sense of place.

Radiating tracks
Roads and tracks extend outward across the plateau, drawing thin lines that connect the town to its wider region.
Open plateau
The level, dry terrain leaves large areas of the map almost empty, giving the poster a minimal, spacious composition.
