关于地图
Rietberg Map Poster & Print
Rietberg lies in the Gütersloh district of North Rhine-Westphalia, on flat land along the upper Ems. On a map the historic core is small and tight, with streets curving around what was once the seat of the counts of Rietberg. Around it the river, streams and ponds weave through meadows, and several outlying villages belong to the town.
The old town is known for its well-preserved half-timbered houses, many with decorated gables, which give the centre a coherent historic look. In 2008 Rietberg hosted the North Rhine-Westphalia state garden show, and the grounds became a large park that is still a prominent green area on the edge of the centre.
A Rietberg map poster combines that compact core with a lot of water and open land. The Ems and its side channels form soft lines across the frame, the park reads as a wide open shape, and the villages appear as smaller clusters. It is a gentle, balanced image of a small town in the Westphalian lowland.

一张有意义的地图
Rietberg is a good choice for those who grew up among its half-timbered streets or walk the Ems meadows regularly. The small core and flowing water create a calm, orderly composition that suits a hallway or bedroom.
