Rivoli Map Poster & Print
Rivoli sits at the mouth of the Susa Valley, just west of Turin, on the slope of a morainic hill left by ancient glaciers. The old town climbs the hill in a tight pattern of streets leading up toward the castle. The newer districts spread down onto the flat plain toward the city.
The Castello di Rivoli, a former Savoy residence left unfinished in the eighteenth century, now houses one of Italy's leading museums of contemporary art. From its terrace the view runs down Corso Francia, the long avenue that connects Rivoli with Turin and one of the most recognisable straight lines in the region.
A Rivoli map poster combines two very different shapes: a compact, contoured old town on the hill and a ruler-straight axis heading east across the plain. Residential streets, industrial areas and the edge of the Alpine foothills fill in around them, giving a map that feels historic and modern at once.
