Residential grid
Straight streets and small lots make up most of the hamlet. At poster scale they form an even, repeating texture.

关于地图
Roosevelt Map Poster & Print
Roosevelt is an unincorporated hamlet in the Town of Hempstead on Long Island's south shore, in Nassau County. From above, it is a dense residential grid of small lots and mostly straight streets. The main roads that cross it are busier and wider, and they carry traffic toward Freeport, Hempstead and the other communities that surround it on all sides.
Like much of Nassau County, Roosevelt has no clear edges on the ground, and its streets simply continue into those of its neighbours. A map poster puts a frame around it, which lets you see the rhythm of house lots and cross streets that makes up the hamlet.
A Roosevelt map poster suits people who grew up on these blocks or still have family here. It avoids the usual suburban clichés and presents the grid clearly, one street and one block at a time, in plain black and white.

Crossing main roads
A few wider roads cross the hamlet and link it to neighbouring villages. They give the composition clear lines of orientation.
Shared boundaries
Roosevelt's streets run straight into the surrounding communities, so the map shows how the hamlet fits into the larger south shore suburbs.

为什么选 Roosevelt
一张有意义的地图
A home street, a school or a family house is usually the reason to hang Roosevelt on the wall. A clean map records exactly where those places are, without looking like a real estate brochure.
Add your own title, subtitle and coordinates, and choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Download the $9 HD files or order a printed poster, which ships from partners in more than 30 countries.
