关于地图
Rosso Map Poster & Print
Rosso is the capital of the Trarza region in southwestern Mauritania, on the northern bank of the Senegal River. On a map, the river is the defining feature, curving along the southern edge of town and separating it from Rosso, Senegal, its namesake on the opposite bank. The crossing between the two is a well-known border point.
The town itself spreads north from the river in a mix of regular and irregular blocks, with main roads leading toward Nouakchott and other parts of the country. Around it, the river's floodplain supports irrigated farming, and the map shows canals and field patterns giving way to drier land farther north.
A Rosso map poster frames the town between river and interior, a place defined by its position on the water and the border. The contrast between the curving river and the straighter roads gives the drawing a clear, grounded structure.

Twin towns
Directly across the water lies Rosso, Senegal, so the map shows two settlements mirroring each other on opposite banks.
Irrigated floodplain
Near the river, canals and fields form a patchwork of rectangles, contrasting with the open, drier land stretching north.
