关于地图
Rumbek Map Poster & Print
Rumbek is the capital of Lakes State in central South Sudan, and one of the historic administrative towns of the region. The surrounding landscape is flat savanna, and from above the town reads as a spread of low-density blocks and compounds rather than a tight urban core. Open ground and trees fill much of the space between buildings.
Roads lead out of Rumbek toward other towns in the region, and these routes form the clearest lines on the map. The town's airstrip adds a long, straight shape at its edge, a common feature of towns in South Sudan where air links matter. The rest of the plan is loose and open, shaped by the land more than by planning.
A Rumbek map poster shows a place rarely seen on a wall: the radiating roads, the airstrip and the scattered pattern of the town set against a wide, open background. In black and white, its simplicity becomes a strength, a calm and honest portrait of a town at the centre of Lakes State.

The airstrip
A long, straight runway sits at the edge of town, one of the most geometric shapes on the map and an important link for the region.
Open savanna
The town spreads loosely across flat savanna, with generous space between blocks, so the map has a light, open texture rather than a dense grid.
