关于地图
Saint Kitts Map Poster & Print
Saint Kitts has one of the most recognisable outlines in the Caribbean. The main body of the island is an oval of volcanic mountains, with Mount Liamuiga at its northern end, and from its south-eastern corner a long, narrow peninsula stretches away toward the neighbouring island of Nevis, separated from it only by a strait known as The Narrows.
A road runs almost all the way around the mountains, linking villages set on the lower slopes where sugar cane was once grown. The narrow-gauge railway built to carry that cane also circled the island and now runs as a scenic line. On the western coast stands Brimstone Hill Fortress, a large colonial fortification on a volcanic hill, listed by UNESCO.
The capital, Basseterre, spreads along the southern shore where the mountains meet the start of the peninsula, with a compact grid of streets behind its waterfront. A Saint Kitts map poster brings out the island's balance of shapes: the ring road around the peaks, the town's small grid and the thin arm of land reaching south-east with salt ponds along its length.

Brimstone Hill
The fortress on the western coast occupies a steep hill above the shoreline road, and its outline stands out among the villages and former cane fields around it.
Basseterre grid
The capital's regular streets fill the gentle slope between the southern shore and the hills, a tight rectangle of blocks set beside the harbour.

为什么选 Saint Kitts
一张有意义的地图
Saint Kitts is often remembered from a cruise stop, a honeymoon or a family link to the island. Its outline is striking enough to be recognised at a glance, which makes it a natural choice for a poster that needs little explanation.
Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, then add your own title, subtitle and coordinates, perhaps pairing the island with a wedding date. The digital files cost $9 and include six sizes, from 30×40 cm to 24×36″.
