关于地图
Sakura Map Poster & Print
Sakura in Tochigi Prefecture was formed in 2005, when the towns of Ujiie and Kitsuregawa merged. From above it reads as two settlements joined by open country: a denser grid of streets around Ujiie Station on the line north from Utsunomiya, and a looser cluster to the west near the Kinu River, with farmland filling most of the space between them.
The Kinu River is the strongest line on the map. It runs north to south along the western edge, a wide braided channel with gravel bars and levees that a city map shows as a pale band. East of it, rectangular rice paddies set up a fine, regular texture of field roads and irrigation ditches, broken by village clusters and wooded strips along the terraces.
A Sakura map poster shows the countryside of the Kanto plain at its most readable, with small blocks of houses surrounded by the geometry of cultivated land. The Kitsuregawa area is known for its hot springs, and the town's quiet grid around the station gives the composition a clear centre while the river and fields carry the rest of the sheet.

Paddy field grid
Long rectangles of rice paddies divided by straight farm roads and irrigation channels create a fine, even pattern across much of the municipality.
Two old centres
The former towns of Ujiie and Kitsuregawa remain visible as separate clusters of streets, each with its own knot of roads, linked across open farmland.

为什么选 Sakura
一张有意义的地图
For people from Sakura, or anyone who has spent time in rural Tochigi, this map records a place defined by its river and fields rather than by tall buildings. It suits a calm room where a light, spacious composition works better than a dense city grid.
You can add your own title and subtitle, a date such as a wedding or a move, and a coordinates line. Choose from five styles, Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, and order either the $9 digital files or a printed poster.
