关于地图
Santiago Map Poster & Print
Santiago is one of the urban districts that together make up the city of Cusco, and it covers much of the southwestern side of the valley. On a map, the Huatanay river and the main roads run along the valley floor, and the streets climb away from them onto the slopes. The higher the neighbourhoods sit, the more their streets bend to follow the ground.
The district takes its name from the colonial parish of Santiago, which was founded just outside the historic centre of the former Inca capital. It is mostly residential now, and the map shows a dense, hard-working part of Cusco rather than its well-known squares, although the old centre is only a short distance away.
A Santiago map poster captures how a mountain city is built: flat, dense streets near the river, then looser lanes rising toward the ridges. At more than 3,300 metres above sea level, the landscape sets the layout here as much as any planner did, and that shows clearly in black and white.

Hillside neighbourhoods
Away from the river, streets turn into switchbacks and short lanes that follow the steep slopes, so the upper half of the map looks much looser and more organic.
Next to old Cusco
Santiago lies just beyond the historic centre of the former Inca capital, a colonial parish that grew into one of the city's largest residential districts.

为什么选 Santiago
一张有意义的地图
For people who live in Cusco's southern districts, or who have family roots here, this map shows a side of the city that postcards leave out: the everyday streets of the valley and the slopes above them, drawn at a scale where you can pick out the familiar routes.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, and choose one of five styles, from Classic black & white to Sand. The $9 digital file includes six print sizes as 300 DPI PNGs and print-ready PDFs, with no watermark.
