Canal-colony grid
The older part of the city follows a planned rectangular layout from its founding. The blocks are even and the crossings straight, unlike the winding cores of older Punjabi towns.

关于地图
Sargodha Map Poster & Print
Sargodha is a young city by South Asian standards. It was founded in the early twentieth century as a planned town in the canal colonies of the Punjab, where British-era irrigation turned dry plains into farmland. That origin still shows on the map. The older core has a regular grid, and the canals and roads leading out of town run in long straight lines.
The land around the city is flat and heavily farmed. Sargodha is known across Pakistan for its citrus, especially the kinnow, and the orchards fill the countryside beyond the suburbs. Inside the city, the planned sectors, markets and cantonment areas each have a clear block structure. That makes the street network unusually readable.
Sargodha is also home to a major Pakistan Air Force base, whose runways and grounds take up a large area near the city. A Sargodha map poster captures a place drawn with a ruler: the straight lines of irrigation and planning set against open ground.

Irrigation lines
Canals and distributaries cut straight across the plain around the city. They are some of the longest and cleanest lines on the map.
Airbase grounds
A large air force base sits near the urban area. Its runways and open land show up as a broad, sparsely drawn area beside the dense streets.

为什么选 Sargodha
一张有意义的地图
Sargodha holds a particular place for families who farmed its orchards or served at its base. Its planned streets make a crisp, orderly print that suits a study or hallway.
You can add a name, a year or a short line of text in the title and subtitle, and set your own coordinates line. Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand give five different moods.
