Old town core
A tight cluster of narrow lanes forms the historic centre. On the poster it is the densest, most intricate part of the drawing.

关于地图
Sedam Map Poster & Print
Sedam is in Kalaburagi district in northern Karnataka, on the dry, level uplands of the Deccan plateau. From above, the town is a compact core of narrow, irregular streets. Newer blocks spread out along the roads leading away from it. Around the town the land is open and mostly flat, with farm plots and scattered villages, so the built area is easy to pick out on the map.
What sets Sedam apart is the ground beneath it. The area is rich in limestone, and cement production has long been the town's main industry. On a map, large industrial sites, quarries and their access roads appear as broad, geometric shapes. They sit clearly apart from the fine, tangled streets of the older town.
Sedam is an important stop between Kalaburagi and the border with Telangana, and roads from several directions meet here. A Sedam map poster shows these layers together: the dense old centre, the straight lines of roads and industry, and the quiet plateau around them.

Cement country
Industrial sites and quarries linked to the local limestone lie around the town. They show up as large, clean-edged shapes that contrast with the streets.
Plateau roads
Straight roads run out across the flat Deccan land toward neighbouring towns. They give the map clear lines that reach to its edges.

为什么选 Sedam
一张有意义的地图
A map of Sedam suits people who grew up in the town, work in its industry or have family across northern Karnataka. The mix of old lanes and large industrial shapes gives the design unusual character.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, for example with a family name or an important date. Choose one of five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand.
