Ridge and valley roads
Roads curve across the plateau, following the lie of the land between hills. On the poster they form flowing lines that connect small settlements.

关于地图
Sequeira Map Poster & Print
Sequeira lies in the Guarda district of Portugal's Beira Interior, on the high plateau near the city of Guarda, often described as the highest city in the country. The map shows an upland landscape: roads following ridges and valleys, small settlements set among fields and stone walls, and the edges of a larger town nearby.
This is granite country, with cold winters and exposed hills, and the settlement pattern reflects that. Houses cluster together, roads link one village to the next along the easiest routes, and the land between them is divided into small, irregular plots rather than broad fields.
A Sequeira map poster presents that upland pattern simply. Winding roads, compact clusters and the fine texture of field boundaries make up an image that is quiet and grounded, showing the Portuguese interior rather than the coast most visitors know.

Clustered settlements
Houses gather tightly in small groups instead of spreading out. These dense points are scattered across the map like small knots in the road network.
Small field plots
The land between settlements is divided into narrow, irregular plots. Their boundaries give the open areas of the print a fine, patchwork texture.

为什么选 Sequeira
一张有意义的地图
The Portuguese interior is where many families have their roots, even if they now live in Lisbon, Porto or abroad. A map of Sequeira is a way to keep that home landscape on the wall, simply and without decoration.
Set your own title, subtitle and coordinates, perhaps a family name, and choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. HD files are $9, and printed matte posters with an optional wooden frame ship from partners in 30+ countries.
