Temple precinct
The Samadhi Mandir complex sits at the centre of town. The streets around it are the most tightly drawn on the map, and everything else spreads out from here.

关于地图
Shirdi Map Poster & Print
Shirdi is in Maharashtra, in the Ahmednagar district now renamed Ahilyanagar, and its fame comes from Sai Baba, the saint who lived here until his death in 1918. The Samadhi Mandir that holds his tomb is the heart of the town. Its layout shows that clearly, because the densest streets and the largest compounds are packed around the temple precinct.
Around that core the map spreads outward in bands. First come lodgings, shops and places to eat, then newer residential lanes, and after that the open farmland of the Deccan plateau. Main roads enter from several directions and meet near the centre, which suits a town that receives very large numbers of visitors all through the year.
A Shirdi map poster is less about architecture than about orientation. The plan shows how a whole town can be arranged around one sacred point. For pilgrims who have made the journey, often more than once, the familiar approach roads and the tight streets near the shrine carry a meaning well beyond their outline.

Converging approach roads
Roads from several directions run in toward the shrine and give the map a loose radial pattern that is easy to read from across a room.
Farmland at the edges
Beyond the lodgings and newer streets the built area stops and open agricultural land takes over, so the town has a clear outline against the plateau.

为什么选 Shirdi
一张有意义的地图
Families often hang Shirdi as a mark of a pilgrimage, a vow kept or a visit shared across generations. A plain black-and-white plan keeps the focus quiet and respectful, and it sits easily in a home prayer corner or a hallway.
Add a title, a subtitle such as the date of your visit, and the coordinates line, then choose one of five styles: Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. The HD files cost $9, and printed posters ship from partners in more than 30 countries.
