The ring canal
The water around the old centre of Bruges forms the western edge of Sint-Kruis. On the poster it appears as a smooth arc that clearly separates the district from the historic core.

关于地图
Sint-Kruis Map Poster & Print
Sint-Kruis lies directly east of the historic centre of Bruges, on the far side of the canal and ramparts that ring the old city. It was a separate municipality until the mergers of the 1970s, when it became part of Bruges. On a map the border is easy to read: the tight medieval pattern stops at the water, and a looser suburban layout begins.
Beyond the ring, roads leave the city gates and run outward like spokes. Residential streets fill the spaces between them, broken up by gardens, sports fields and small green areas. Further east and north the built-up area thins out and the map turns into the long straight lines of drained farmland, drainage ditches and country roads heading toward Damme and the coast.
A Sint-Kruis map poster shows the moment where a famous historic city gives way to its quieter surroundings. Printed in black and white, the curve of the ring canal sits at one edge of the frame and the district spreads away from it. The result is a clean picture of the place people actually live in, rather than only the postcard centre.

Radiating roads
Main roads leave the old city gates and cross Sint-Kruis outward. They give the district its structure, with quieter residential streets filling in the spaces between the spokes.
Polder edge
Toward the north and east the streets give way to flat farmland crossed by straight ditches and lanes. The change from suburb to open country is clear even at a small print size.

为什么选 Sint-Kruis
一张有意义的地图
For people who grew up in Sint-Kruis or live there now, this map shows the Bruges they know from daily life: the school run, the cycle route into town, the walk along the canal. It makes a quiet, personal alternative to the usual views of the belfry.
You can set the title to Sint-Kruis or to a street name, and add a subtitle with a date or the coordinates. Pick from Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand to match the room it will hang in.
