关于地图
Sitra Map Poster & Print
Sitra lies off the eastern coast of Bahrain's main island, southeast of Manama. It is low and flat, separated from the mainland by a narrow channel and linked to it by causeways. On a map its outline is irregular, partly natural and partly shaped by land reclamation along the shore.
The island combines older villages, with irregular streets and small palm groves, and large industrial and port facilities, including oil storage and terminal areas associated with Bahrain's petroleum industry. The contrast shows up clearly on the map: winding lanes in one area, broad rectangular plots in another.
Highways cross the island and connect it to Manama and to the rest of Bahrain. A Sitra map poster captures a small island that has become part of the country's urban and industrial fabric while still keeping the lines of its older settlements.

Village lanes
Older settlements on the island keep irregular street patterns and small plots, a finer and more organic texture than the newer developments around them.
Industrial shoreline
Large port, storage and industrial areas occupy parts of the coast. They appear on the poster as broad geometric blocks along reclaimed land and waterfront.

为什么选 Sitra
一张有意义的地图
For people from Sitra, the island is home, a set of villages and neighbourhoods with their own identity within Bahrain. A map shows every lane and causeway they know, a personal piece for a family home or an office.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line with a family name, a village or a date. Choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Sand gives it warmth, and Blueprint brings out the geometry.
