Compact core
The old town forms a tight cluster of short, irregular streets in the middle of the map, clearly different from the wider roads built later around it.

关于地图
Siverek Map Poster & Print
Siverek is a district town in Şanlıurfa province, on the volcanic uplands between the Euphrates valley and the Karacadağ massif. From above, the town is a compact, fairly round cluster of streets set in wide open country. The older centre has narrow, irregular lanes. Around it, newer quarters are laid out in more regular blocks along the main roads.
The land here is shaped by old lava flows from Karacadağ, a broad shield volcano to the east. Dark basalt is common in the fields and in local stone buildings, which gives the area its well-known look. On a map, the countryside is crossed by long straight roads and field boundaries instead of rivers or forests.
A Siverek map poster keeps the focus on the town: a dense, knot-like centre, main roads leading out toward Şanlıurfa, Diyarbakır and the Euphrates, and new building spreading gradually around the edges. Since the surroundings are so open, the street pattern stands out clearly, and even a plain black-and-white rendering has a strong, solid presence.

Radiating roads
Main routes leave the town in several directions across the plateau, giving the plan a loose star shape against the open land.
Volcanic plateau
The town sits on basalt uplands shaped by Karacadağ, so the setting on the map is spare and open, with few natural lines to break it.
