Coastal salt ponds
A string of salt ponds, among them Point Judith, Potter and Trustom ponds, lines the southern shore behind narrow barrier beaches, giving the bottom of the map a layered, watery look.

关于地图
South Kingstown Map Poster & Print
South Kingstown stretches from the inland woods of Rhode Island down to the Atlantic shore of Block Island Sound. It is less a single town than a group of villages, including Wakefield, Peace Dale, Kingston and Matunuck, joined by winding roads through woodland and farmland. From above, the southern edge is dominated by a chain of coastal salt ponds, separated from the ocean by thin barrier beaches.
Kingston is home to the main campus of the University of Rhode Island, whose quads and buildings form a compact, orderly block in the northern part of the town. Inland lies Worden Pond, the largest natural freshwater lake in the state, while the Saugatucket River runs through Wakefield toward the salt ponds and the sea.
A South Kingstown map poster brings all of this into a single frame: the calm shapes of the ponds, the delicate line of the beaches, the village centres and the campus. It suits graduates of URI, summer residents on the shore and families who have lived among these villages for generations.

为什么选 South Kingstown
一张有意义的地图
Some people hang this map to remember their years at URI, others to mark a summer house by the ponds or a childhood in Wakefield or Peace Dale. It holds campus, village and shoreline in one place.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line with a class year, a beach name or a family name, and choose Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Paper suits the coastline especially well.
