关于地图
Starkville Map Poster & Print
Starkville is the seat of Oktibbeha County in east-central Mississippi and the home of Mississippi State University. From above, the town has two parts: a compact downtown grid centred on Main Street, and to the east, the university's large campus of wide lawns, curving drives and large buildings.
At the heart of the campus is the Drill Field, a broad open lawn that anchors the university's layout. Mississippi State is also known for the cowbells fans ring at football games. Around town and campus, suburban streets, shopping corridors and wooded land spread out into the surrounding countryside.
A Starkville map poster shows how a college town is put together. The downtown grid is fine and regular. The campus is looser and more open, and newer neighbourhoods curve around them both, which makes for a varied composition for anyone connected to the university.

Main Street grid
Downtown's compact grid of blocks forms the traditional heart of the town. It contrasts with the looser layout of the campus.
Campus drives
Curving roads and walkways link the university's buildings and fields. They add softer, flowing lines to the map.
