关于地图
Starnberg Map Poster & Print
Starnberg sits where the Starnberger See comes to a point at its northern end, a short train ride from Munich. The lake stretches south for roughly twenty kilometres, and on a map the town reads as the anchor at its top: a harbour front, a promenade along the shore, and streets climbing gently up the moraine hills that surround the water.
The River Würm leaves the lake here and flows north toward Munich; the lake itself was once known as the Würmsee. The railway runs right along the shoreline, separating the town from its lakefront. Further down the eastern shore lies Berg, where King Ludwig II of Bavaria died in the water in 1886, a spot marked today by a cross standing in the lake.
A Starnberg map poster frames that meeting of town and water: the dense old centre, the curve of the shore, the villas spreading along both banks and the open surface of the lake beyond. In monochrome, the lake becomes a calm, empty shape against the fine street pattern, which suits a place defined so completely by its shoreline.

Würm outflow
The River Würm begins its course at the lake's northern end and runs out toward Munich, drawing a thin line northward away from the broad water.
Lakeside railway
The railway hugs the shore through the town centre, an unusual and clearly visible feature that places the tracks between the streets and the lake.

为什么选 Starnberg
一张有意义的地图
Starnberg is a place people return to for summers on the water, a first home outside Munich or a wedding by the lake. A map of the town and its shoreline holds those memories in a form that feels considered rather than sentimental.
You can write your own title, add a subtitle with a date, and keep or change the coordinates line. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, and order a matte print, optionally framed, or download the HD files.
